Korean War Memorial

As you walk toward the Lincoln Monument the Korean War Memorial is on your left, and the Vietnam Memorial is on the right, on the other side of the reflecting pool.

The Korean War is the one my father served in. He was in the army.

The thing I remember most about it during my childhood is, he wouldn't talk about it.

As we walked along side, you could see them talking to each other, turning around, gesturing, as they went under the trees, and across the field.

At the bottom of the sidewalk were the inscriptions, and then you would walk back up, past the walk with images of soldiers engraved into the stone.
