fun, fun, fun!

At the end of 2012, Max and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary.  So we decided to have and adventure.  First, we took a train to Chicago,Illinois, where Teandra and Mark came to pick us up and take us to West Lafayette, Indiana.  We were there for Christmas, and had a wonderful visit.  Teandra had made us all kids of special treats to eat for Max, and for myself.

 We then flew to Dallas, TX where Kiora picked us up and we went to her home to visit with her family for a few days.  And to have fun with her family, play games, eat wonderful food that she makes and meat that her husband smokes, and grills.  YES there is some good coming from living in Texas.  Learning how to smoke meat.  :D   She  and her family

then drove us down to Lake Jackson, TX and hour south of Houston, where my brother lives.  We rented a cabin on the beach, and my sister and her husband from Utah, and my brother and his wife from Texas, and some of their children all stayed in different cabins on the beach.

Then my husband and I and my siblings and their spouses all went to Galveston and boarded a ship for a cruise to Mexico!  We had SO MUCH FUN!!

We ate lots of delicious food, we swam with the dolphins,
we went on lots of tours.

The men tried to get in some light exercise.  :D

Chichen Itza was a very interesting, fascinating, and educational place.
